Rules & Regulations:
2009. 2. Deer must be a whitetail buck killed in the State of Oklahoma during the general hunting season. 3. All entries must be legally harvested and properly tagged according to the most recent Oklahoma Hunting Law. Hunter must present a valid Oklahoma hunting license to the official measurer. 4. Measurements must be made within 7 days of kill. 5. For measurements registered hunter must bring in the field dressed deer or the deer’s head with antlers attached to the nearest wildlife management area and have it officially scored, or contact your nearest game warden to find out where to get it officially scored. 6. Deer entry scores are based on the newest gross Boone & Crocket scoring method. All scores are final and must be signed by participant, if there is a conflict the contestant has with the scores they are given, they will be disqualified from the contest immediately. (NO EXCEPTIONS) In case of a tie, the longest single point off the main beam will determine the winner. In case of tie after the tiebreaker has been considered, the winner will be determined by a drawing between the hunters with the same score. 7. You must mail in a copy of your score sheet the name and phone number of state employee who scored it along with a picture of you with the buck entered and a signed and dated rule sheet! For any reason we feel the need to score your deer you will have 48 hours to present your deer to us, as referred to rule 5. Our score will be the final score of your buck for our contest. 8. Any registered hunter trying to cheat in the Big Buck Contest will be automatically disqualified, forfeit their prize and will be barred form entering the Big Buck contest for a period of time to be determined by the contest committee. 9. Any registered hunter found guilty of violating any Oklahoma Game Law automatically forfeits his or her chances of winning any prize. The guilty party will be barred from entering the Big Buck contest for a period of time to be determined by the contest committee. 10. A contestant can turn in every legal kill he or she kills during season but can only win one prize overall. The prize will be given for the highest placing buck entered by contestant. You will have to pay for each additional deer entry form. 11. Winners will be posted on the Oklahomapublichunting.com web site. 12. Any tax obligation incurred as a result of any prize awarded herein will be the responsibility of the recipient of the prize. 13. By entering the contest, you have agreed to comply with all the rules of the contest and all decisions of the Big Buck Contest Committee. All decisions of the Big Buck Contest Committee will be final. 14. All contestants are subject to a polygraph test at the sole discretion of the Contest Official. 15. Only General Season kills are eligible. No early management lands deer permits (MLD's) accepted. |

Deer must be a whitetail antlerless deer killed in the State of Oklahoma during the general hunting season. 3. All entries must be legally harvested and properly tagged according to the most recent Oklahoma Hunting Law. Hunter must present a valid Oklahoma hunting license to the official measurer. 4. No measurements required. We are going by heaviest field dress antlerless deer. You must submit a picture of your antlerless deer while it’s on the scale. Must show weight and show that it is field dressed in the picture. You can send more then one picture if necessary. In case of a tie we will draw names to see who wins. 5. Any registered hunter trying to cheat in the Big Doe Contest will be automatically disqualified, forfeit their prize and will be barred from entering the Big Doe contest for a period of time to be determined by the contest committee. 6. Any registered hunter found guilty of violating any Oklahoma Game Law automatically forfeits his or her chances of winning any prize. The guilty party will be barred from entering the Big Doe contest for a period of time to be determined by the contest committee. 7.
